“Tango Gypsie” is a common term of art in the Argentine Tango community. Often uttered with a twinge of envy, it is typically a reference to the bold tangueros/as who travel great distances, from one milonga to the next, in search of the perfect tanda. In that same spirit, the NHTC community continues to migrate from time to time in search of an available dance floor with a roof and a bar. The space we have been enjoying for the past year is no longer available, so we are packing up our laptops, breath mints, and shoe bags and migrating to our new home.

We’re baaaaaaaaaaack. 
After much anticipation NHTC is happy to report that tango on Tuesdays is back in New Haven. Join us at RED on Orange Street (formerly Fosters) this coming Tuesday, February 22nd, 8:00pm.
Be sure to bring your appetite to sample the savory new menu. The NHTC officers took if for a test run last week, and can we just say YUM!!!!

Our return to our old, but renovated venue, RED on Orange Street, has been delayed a little a little longer still. The restaurant is still prepping for its relaunch, so keep checking back here for our announcement of the Tango return date.
In the meantime, continue to enjoy yourselves at Rumbero’s practica, and Yale Tango Clubs ongoing class series and Sunday practicas.
